I really must start saving for a lap-top. I am now sitting at Glasgow airport waiting for my flight back to London. I’ve put a £1 coin into the slot and I’m typing on the worst keyboard imaginable. This is really not good enough now that I have become a well-known blogger – I can’t believe that I have actually met TWO people in Scotland (who are not family) who actually read my blog! How cool is that? I was very touched that they bothered to comment on the fact that they enjoyed it and felt as if they knew me.
I have had a great time with my gorgeous Scottish friends. They couldn’t have been more hospitable (although taking me out to see the new film featuring Pierce Brosnan, called “Married Life” last night was perhaps a little insensitive, given I was feeling green and hairy and unmarried enough as it was).
There has been much excitement about David Florence’s silver medal – my friends are really good friends with directly related family members – he’s done so well.
My time (on the computer) is just about up – so I will sign off and be back home later where I can update you all properly on what’s been going on.
