OK. Trying to look for positives here. According to newspaper reports yesterday, it is better for your health if you sleep on your own. Sleep experts (would that be an interesting job?) have found that sharing a bed often leads to poor quality sleep. Latest research suggests that “sleeping with your partner can be bad for your health – and for your relationship”.
Several suggestions are made as to how to avoid unbroken sleep, including sleeping in separate beds, buying a bigger bed, getting separate duvets or darker curtains.
I have two other suggestions. First try earplugs and if that doesn’t work split up with them and be single. BEING SINGLE IS GREAT! HOORAY FOR BEING SINGLE!
Good grief. Even the word sounds ridiculous when you say it a few times…..and it rhymes with “dingle”.
It’s boring though. Sleeping on your own.
Sleep when your dead. That’s what I say. (or was it Robbie Williams who said it first?).

We gave up trying to sleep in the same room years ago – during the week we sleep on our own and sleep together at weekends
That said I'd love it if we could get back to sleeping in the same bed more – Mr Muddling is a warm person and the nights are starting to get cold !

It does get a little lonely doesn't it?
That said, no more hoggling the duvet, snoring, farting in bed has to be something to celebrate!

Oh, but sleeping in the same bed is so lovely! But yes, being single too. I'll pull out my cheerleader pom-poms, and maybe we can make up a rhyme using both single and dingle in it…. the mind boggles! Hope you're feeling a bit better about everything x

You're right. It is boring. I hope I am not consigned to forever sleeping alone. I for one always quite liked sharing a bed.

I read this article too. I 'starfish' in the bed every chance I get. I think I'm a natural 'alone' sleeper too. After several years of me, my husband, a 4 year old and now a baby sharing our small bed I know it's bad for your health. I've kicked everyone out but my husband – and I'm working on him!!!
