Well, the voting process is killing me. Apparently you can vote every day – which is hugely traumatic and demanding for my three loyal readers (that includes me). I suspect the voting stage might go on for weeks. I’ll have a heart attack.
Even more traumatic is that I have checked out some of the competition and it’s not looking good. There are some amazing blogs out there. One of the blogs on the Top 10 “Best Daddy” awards is offering a free tote bag to all his voters if he wins.
Hmm. I suspect I am not doing enough marketing here. I know. What about anybody that votes for me can have one of my children as my giveaway prize (or will that perhaps not look too good if I win the “Best Mommy” Blog and then suddenly have nothing to write about – except maybe spa treatments, inner calm, expensive luxury holidays for one, books I have time to read, movies I have time to see and so on).

Hilarious. I hadn’t thought of giving away my kid so I could win. She’s pretty cute but I’m probably the only one who wants her, so I don’t think that would help me too much with the votes.
I do have a half eaten box of chocolates that somebody gave me for Christmas. I suppose I could offer it up as a prize, but I wouldn’t want to make the competition unfair.
