On the new “Disney Dream” cruise ship you can enjoy a variety of dining experiences – changing restaurants each evening, but being accompanied by the same servers, which means you benefit from a personalised service. For example, if you don’t finish your bottle of wine they will serve it to you the next evening. Or they will remember your likes and dislikes, food allergies and so on.

There are two amazing adult only restaurants at the top of the ship.

Remy is Disney Cruise Line’s first ever premier dining option. Chef Arnaud Lallement from l’Assiette Champenoise, a Michelin two star restaurant has created a wonderfully French inspired gourmet cuisine.

Palo is a very smart Italian restaurant with an extensive wine list.

Between these two restaurants on the same floor is an impressive pre-dinner bar – all brown leather and wood interior called Meridian where you have to wear a jacket.

Animator’s Palate

We enjoyed a delicious meal in this family restaurant where there are views of a coral reef environment around the walls. Inspired by the magic of Disney animation, Crush, the sea turtle from “Finding Nemo” swims about, “working the room”, engaging guests in real-time conversations about his life and world. Very cool.

Royal Palace

Very elegant lavish surroundings feature in this restaurant serving French inspired continental cuisine. The circular floor plan, fluted columns and iron railing work are all recreated from the “Cinderella” ballroom scene. We had a splendid breakfast here that you order from the menu rather than choose from a buffet.

Enchanted Garden

The setting here is inspired by the gardens of Versailles. As the day progresses the restaurants vast ceiling changes from blue sky into the setting sun and then into twinkling stars. This is a more casual restaurant that feels like a conservatory in France somewhere. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style and dinner is a full service affair.

Cabanas

Here you can help yourself to a huge array of excellent different self service foods. It’s like a food court – you can just pick and choose and sit amongst the ocean views and seaside theme. You can even sit outside on deck which I liked.

Flo’s Cafe

Quick service snack bar near the children’s swimming pools.

and then of course there is always room service….
