We spent yesterday afternoon cocooned in the unbelievably serene “Divana Nurture Spa“:-
I have never had such a choice of treatments:-
and suffering from one of the worst hangovers in history, I struggled to even read the detail, let alone settle on the right massage for removing all known toxins. I went for the “an ideal to uplift the weiry soul” (sic).
Me and my friend shared a double room. She chose a massage that included a body scrub. At one point, I sneaked a peek at her from under my eye mask. She had fallen asleep on her back. She was snoring. Loudly. Mouth open, covered in stuff that looked like seaweed and at the bottom of the bed the female masseur was kneeding her legs wearing a surgical mask. She looked like something that had been washed up from the sea.
My massage was incredible. I’ve never experienced anything like it and it totally put the massages I’ve had in the UK to shame. At times it was unbelievably painful as she worked into my tight muscles and it lasted two hours!. My masseur must have had hands of steel – and thighs, because at one point she massaged my back by hovering on top of me. I was slightly worried that only having a teeny space to breathe and thus having to inhale the pure methane that I’d just breathed out I might die – however, I definitely felt better afterwards.
Because we were taken by somebody who lives in Bangkok, I suspect it was a little off the beaten track. It was gorgeous. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a little love and attention.

How lovely – sounds fabulous. Just what you needed too after your few months of hell.. I hope you get to fully unwind, relax, forget about everything in the UK and chill out.

As someone who is claustrophobic, I'm sorry but that two hour massage sounds like a nightmare!
