They deserved to win. Their performance was electric and contemporary and I think sums up the best of British talent. An incredibly talented group of street dancers made up of 11 people – 3 sets of brothers and 4 friends aged between 12 and 25. A diverse group of colours, ages and sizes who have worked together to produce something spectacular. That is what Britain is best at and what we should be most proud of.
Lets hope their hard work, raw energy and determination encourage a lot more people to put their spare time to better use.

ps: How gorgeous is their choreographer and lead dancer? There were 8 of us in the room watching of all different ages and we ALL fancied him.
I’m delighted Julian got into the top three.
I have never heard a saxophone played so beautifully and with such raw emotion (although Courtney Pine was pretty good when I was travelling with him on tour with the “Pet Shop Boys – just thought I’d drop that one in). It felt as if you could see right through to his soul. Lets hope not quite winning will be good enough to give him the break he needed.

Wot were you doing with Courney pine and Pet Shop Boys.? I am intrigued… (Love Coutney and actually played alto sax for a few years..very badly. will check out yer man.

I went on part of their world tour when I was working as a promotions manager in their record company about 20 years ago! What a job that was – I’ve got some great photos I should post some time Lx

and what about the pressure on the 10 yr old girl tonight, I nearly switched off, I felt so guilty watching her suffering so.
good for cowell, he was having none of the producers crap and stated she would go to the ball!! say what you want the mans got heart…and other stuff too…yum
