It’s still snowing! What very strange weather. If it carries on, at least next time I go out to a pub, I can wear my blue smurf ski-boots, which will protect my ankle. should I be stupid enough to fall over again. I can also sway gently in them without too much effort.
Had a lovely, albeit unusual Easter Sunday. I spent the first half in the bosom of a very good friend of mine’s family and then met up with my very very famous friend (although my brother has told me not to exaggerate and that she’s only a bit famous) for a cold, slightly limpy (thanks to my ankle injury) walk around a park.
I then provided that very well known Easter Monday meal for them called “Thai Chicken Curry” for her and her husband and another couple of friends. My oldest friend from Hong Kong and her husband (who was on call and could have had to rush off to save a baby’s life at any moment). Sometimes I wish I had a job like that, so impressive.
I’m missing the kids now. They’re back later tonight. I’m off for lunch with friends and then tea with more friends. Aren’t I lucky to have so many lovely friends. I couldn’t cope without them all.

Tease! (famous friend?) I have a claim to fame anyway. My friend is married to someone who is the father of …. oops, better not reveal. OK, discretion is good.
