You should see my sitting room. About 10 teenage boys more morose than I’ve ever seen them. All slumped and miserable. Refusing to go to school tomorrow. How sad. That was a big deal for them and how disappointing – the worst defeat for England in world cup history and I have to be hosting the event. Typical.

But the reality was that our team under-performed.

Bit unfair on Capello. The qualifiers showed how we can play with him at the helm. This isn’t his fault, it’s the players.

I don’t know squat about soccer, I follow Aussie Rules & Rugby League!
But at least your guys are still in it, the Aussies won the match but not by enough points, so we’re out.

Capello won’t resign, he will wait to be sacked, more compensation! He conveniently signed a new contract a few weeks before the World Cup…….
There needs to be a complete ‘root and branch’ of English football, or they are doomed.
