We’re in the same boat, just got back from Portugal with a looooong school holiday ahead of us.

I too have suspected wave inflicted broken bones. My ten year old clattered into me when he got wiped out bodysurfing, and having had broken ribs in the past, I’m fairly sure it’s happened again.

I think it’s a mum thing to always think of the kids.

I would have thought it would have been betterto have a family holiday now and have a couple holiday in a year or so when the families have sorted through some stuff.

But that’s their choice.

Not sure I’d want 9 kids on my honeymoon I have to say.

Yeah, who wants St Lucia, anyway. The Algarve with twenty kids (it was 20, wasn’t it?) and a broken nose, what more could you want?

the restorative benefits of a holiday are immense…however broken nose and 7 kids is a big ask…so admire you!
