I used to have an imaginary frog. When we moved back to the UK from SA I was convinved that we’d left him on the plane and my mother had to ask to reboard the aircraft to retrieve him. Which, to her great credit, she did.

Harvey was James Stewarts imaginary friend in the film of the same name. He was a 6′ white polka rabit.

I think Mum's the Word is referring to Harvey, the imaginary giant rabbit in the eponymous film starring James Stewart. Great film.

When I was a little boy I had an imaginary friend. I hated him. (I just love that joke!)
