BLOG

This photograph just about sums it all up. Many happy kids, beautiful views, food, times and we are all just loving it:-

On our fishing trip, with the subtle help of BB my youngest son caught a mackeral so he was very happy and then threw it back in so I was happy too.

I need to hold on to how much we all have together because when I get back my X has insisted on meeting me to talk about the children and has suggested that I might like to have a lawyer present. WTF??? Can’t think what he wants to talk about but it’s scaring me…..WHY would I need a lawyer present? Good grief. BB has offered to come in place of a lawyer and take notes, but I’m not sure thats going to work.

Anyway, in the meantime off to enjoy the moment.

Wow that looks fab, you are right to focus on the present, you can not change what ever he is going to do, but what a pain to do this to do when you are all having fun.

What a beautiful pic, dont worry about when X comes home just enjoy the moment, why let him spoil your time now whatever he has to say will wait. You can deal with it when you have to no point in rushing towards things you cant change.

Well if it that serious maybe the whole conversation from start to finish should be in writing, just so nobody can play “I never said that !!”

If it is real and not a case of wanting to push your buttons or catch you off guard, then he shouldn’t have any issue with creating a permanent record of his words so you (and if nec. a lawyer) can peruse it at leisure before deciding how to respond.

He has every right to bring up any issues he has or changes he would like to make. He doesn’t however get to chose the format of communication.

Face to face can always happen once he has committed what is up on paper so nobody is at a disadvantage thanks to the element of surprise. No reasonable person can object to creating a level playing field.
