HAPPY LEAP YEAR DAY…..
A leap year – otherwise known as a bissextile year (which sounds infinitely more attractive) is a year containing one additional day and that day is TODAY – February 29th!!! So we have 366 days of the year this year…
So what can I do today with that spare day that I can’t do for another four years? You are allowed to do something extraordinary today – I’m thinking about either getting a tattoo or a nose piercing – as yet undecided. Girls are allowed to propose….hmmmm…..anyone I know doing that???
So what are you going to do that is so spectacular on this very special day that it can only be done every four years?

I totally blew it by explaining all about Leap Year this morning to the 8 year old – because I was a day early. He went in to school and said “Happy Leap Year Day” to his friends. When they all pointed out he was a day early he was very annoyed with me for embarrassing him.

I did!!! He said yes! Which is just as well as I’d already booked the ceremony AND a photographer. I was going to put it on ebay if he said no! xx
