I suspect that it might simply be wishful thinking that makes my 7 year old think he is about to cover sex education. It really seems a little too young to be learning about such things. Thanks to my older children, he is currently obsessed with the facts of life, even if he believes he already knows it all. He came out of school today slightly disappointed because they hadn’t done any sex education. He said, “I’m not sure when we’re going to start it, but we’re going to talk about how babies are made. I told my teacher today that I knew about babies and that you were 11 when you had me and 8 when you had my sister”. “That was my weight, not my age” I corrected him. I wonder if I need to clarify that point with his teacher.
