Oh no. Impending disaster looms. It appears that I have somehow been mistakenly included on “the best of blogs” 2007 awards list in the “best mommy blog” section (American award per chance?). This is both ridiculously exiting and slightly alarming. This might mean that my readership figures double from 3 to 6.
I am supposed at this point to ask everybody I know to vote for me, but I think it’s probably best not to. However, I have this slightly ridiculous urge to put the link here (which luckily probably won’t work as usual), but just in case…..
Then scroll down to the “best mommy blogs”…I’m in there somewhere.
Did it work?

Who cares about links! We can copy and paste. Which is what am about to do – and then go vote for you.
If you do win, I promise to organise a campaign to create the most gorgeous head covering ever for the event. Something like Joseph’s Amazing Technicolour abaya

I couldn’t help but vote for you.
So, ummm, I hope you don’t win? Because of the ex-husband thing.
(But secretly I think you deserve to win)

Nonesense – you wouldn’t be on the list if you weren’t worthy. And blogging doesn’t mean everyone knows who you are. I wouldn’t begin to know where to start looking!

Well I’m going to vote for you. And if you win and don’t want to go collect your award, I’ll go and pretend to be you if you like.

Well identification is the price of fame!!!!!!!!! Good for you! You could always wear a mask! Don’t delete anything! Its your blog!
I would vote for you!
Don’t suppose any one really would know who you are or your ex!

Thank you all for your lovely comments…sorry about horrid tummy bug, but glad to hear I made you laugh and lets hope your friend in early stages of trauma gets something out of it too.
Lynx? You’re right, they live on mountainsides and that’s why I haven’t been able to access them.
