Next year then perhaps I will take “m”‘s advice and go off somewhere hot, like on a beach and do a turkey impression (not literally – just the gentle roasting bit – or does that sound worse?). Or Zed’s and cook something easier. Lx

I wish I could get away from it all but the price of a plane ticket would be more expensive than my present budget put together. You’ll get through christmas. Why don’t you try changing from turkey? I was so sick of it that one year I asked the kids if they wouldn’t mind a raclette. They were so relieved that they didn’t have to face a turkey again – and it’s so simple to set up.

Next year, be different!

Tips for a stress free Christmas? Purchase Airline ticket for December 15 (ish) to anywhere warm – 25oC or above – must have smart hotel, sandy beach, blue sea, palm tress etc. Depart, without telling anyone, lie on beach, gentle rotation to achieve even, all over tan!…..return to UK January 15 – or thereabouts…..could it be easier…?
