By far the best part about Walt Disney World for me is Disney’s Animal Kingdom safari and in particular the Kilimanjaro Safari where you need to keep your eyes open and your camera ready for all the wildlife. One of the benefits of having relatively dismal weather in Floridian terms whilst we were there meant that all the animals were out in force – right up close and personal.

As you can tell from the header of my blog I am a massive elephant fan and watching the elephants cavorting around was incredible. Apparently not even any of the guides had seen them this playful before…

So on this occasion, pictures are going to tell a 1,000 words, so here goes:-

I note that the guide said “here to our left is a wonderful bloat of hippos”….”BLOAT???” is that what they call them in the USA? We say “Pod”.. just wondering:-
